Honeymoon Packing Checklist for the Groom

To spend a worry-less honeymoon, you need to make sure that you pack all the essentials. Is your brain, storming about all the things that you must take with you?

Well, we can help calm the storm, all you need is a checklist of all the things you will need on your honeymoon. We know you have a lot to do, so without further ado, let’s get right on it!

Extremely Important Items to Keep

This is a list of all the items that you, at any cost shouldn’t forget!

Tickets

When leaving home for honeymoon, most people forget their tickets at home. This is a very rookie mistake to make, as you might have to return home to grab the ticket, which might cause you to be exceptionally late and even result in you missing your flight. This is why you must prepare a go to bag that has the tickets right in front.

Passport/ Visa

Forgetting the passport or visa at home means that you cannot travel. What is the use of planning an entire trip but not being able to make it because you forgot your passport at home. This is why you must make sure your passport is kept secured in your go-to bag.

Hard Cash & Cards

Imagine being stranded in a foreign land and not have money. Consider that a honeymoon spoiled! Be extremely cautious about keeping money. It would be best to keep not only hard cash with you but also cards. You never know just how much money you will require, which is why it is wise to keep some cash in hand while you have more of it in the card.

A Diary Of Important Phone Numbers

When travelling you do not know what might happen which is why you must come prepared. Bring a diary of all the numbers you think will come in handy. That can include the number of your doctor in case you have an emergency or the important number of people who can help you out if you are stuck in a pickle. Perhaps the contact details of your relatives who live in that area or maybe emergency contacts of police and other important numbers.

ID Tags

It is very often that people lose their bags because they do not have name tags on them which makes them confused between other luggage that looks similar to theirs. Do not forget the tags so that you don’t end up loosing your luggage and jeopardizing your honeymoon.

Clothes

You will obviously be carrying clothes with you but what exactly do you need to carry? Here is a list to help you.

Jeans

Keep your favourite pair of jeans in your luggage, you can keep multiple if you want. The best choices would be to keep one light blue, one dark blue and black jeans. If you have space you can even go for a white pair of jeans.

Casual T-Shirts

While roaming around the area, you might need comfortable t-shirts to get you through the day. Keep multiple t-shirts with you as they can prove to be very helpful.

Jackets or Sweaters

If you are going to a colder place you must keep a jacket or a sweater on the standby so that you don’t have to buy them at the very last moment, that too while being on your honeymoon. You don’t have to keep many of them just a few will do.

Polo Shirts

Polo shirts actually look very good. You can have multiple colors for your Polo shirts and wear them as you please.

Swim Suit

If you are going to a place like the Bahamas, you will obviously have the opportunity to swim. This is why you must go prepared and get yourself a swimsuit. You can even keep two if you are staying for a longer period of time.

Sneakers

To pair your jeans and t-shirts you need nice looking sneakers so that they can give you an overall look. The best choice would be to keep white-colored sneakers as they usually go with everything.

Fancy Shoes

On this honeymoon, you might have some fancy dinners planned and to wear, you definitely need some nice shoes.

Joggers

A pair of joggers never hurt anyone.

Sleeping Suit

You do not expect to get comfortable sleep when you are dressed in clothes that you spent the whole day in. This is why it is best to keep a single pair or more of sleeping suits to sleep comfortably.
